On 22 March, Julius Drake will perform with Dame Sarah Connolly as she makes her recital debut with The Philadelphia Chamber Music Society at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. The concert (featuring songs by Brahms, Wolf, Roussel, Debussy and Zemlinsky) marks Dame Sarah’s only 2019 US appearance.
Miles Cohen, Artistic Director of The Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, said, ‘Drake has been performing and recording with Connolly for over two decades. That chemistry, that intimacy they have on stage together, that’s very apparent.’
